Said the following about Darryl Davidson - **HAS LEFT**:

“In the early hours in April, there was a male at the most northern point on the platform looking a bit lost. Darryl approached the male and asked if he intended to travel, but the male was very vague. He spent almost 10 minutes talking to the male. Asouna, a Northern cleaner colleague, also arrived on the scene to help. The man was reluctant to leave and wanted information on the next train coming through. Darryl was convinced the man was a danger to himself. There is very limited lighting and space at this end of the platform making the situation even more difficult. Unperturbed Darryl & Asouna managed to convince the man to return back to the main area in the station, while Brian, the Team Leader, contacted the police and the Signal Box Shift Manager. When the police arrived he told them that he had intended to walk under a train. He was then taken by the medical services to receive the care he needed. Well done Darryl. Thanks to you and Asouna's intervention a tragedy has been prevented. Well done.“
