“The Route Enhancement Team (REM) works with internal and external clients (Councils and developers) to bring enhancement to the rail network and protect its assets whilst this has been undertaken. There is a lot of stakeholder management and negotiation of complex activity. The team has suffered following a number of leavers reducing the team from 14 to 7, but despite this the team has pulled together to look after each other through this time of extra stress with all the projects continuing to be delivered and to continue to satisfy the demands of some influential stakeholders.“
