Said the following about Rebecca Shaw:

“Rebecca has been instrumental in supporting coverage at our Edinburgh Waverley Station since January. Her home station is Glasgow Central, but after a chat with me in December 2020, she offered to temporarily help out for a few weeks even though it would be a 12 hour day. Fast Forward to September and she is STILL supporting this and always giving 150% In addition to this, when we introduced the AVOCET ticket issuing system for ATT's, bikes and reservations to enhance our customer experience trainside, To supplement the training, Rebecca (already an avid user of AVOCET in Glasgow) compiled a training guide to help her colleagues get to grips with it and work through any problems they may find.

Rebecca has also stepped up to cover as Team Leader too, to take responsibility of customer experience and operational task.

She is also a community champion and is always drumming up support for our partnerships. In April this year, along with two colleagues, she did the Boycott your Bed for Action for Children, raising almost £500. Furthermore she promoted the Network Rail initiative to with their arts and crafts donations for the Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity.

It has been a pleasure for me as her manager to see Rebecca step up and help out both colleagues and community initiatives.

A colleague's recent recognition about Rebecca "due to disruption on East Coast we had the chance of 5 extra train loads of customers on the 08.52 I received feedback from social media from an LNER customer praising myself and Rebecca for our stance on the platform and the information we were giving out. Rebecca was a major part in helping to sort out customers with her seat reservations etc. and making sure that Cross Country and LNER kept us and their customers up to date".

Rebecca deserves this recognition, she has been awesome!“
