Covid came as a curve ball to the whole country and especially the railway and how we ran services and how it would change the dynamics of every department. The On-board cleaning team where tasked to come up with a system of work to cover every touch point that a customer would touch and work alongside traincrew to deliver clean and safe trains. This was done professionally and with no dramas. The team always with a smile on their faces went out every day to deliver. Even in the height of the pandemic videos were produced so our customers could see how clean our trains where. They were well received and showed how hard the team worked. Talking with other managers across the business they always have positive experiences with the team and praise them and their efforts. An outstanding group of staff who thoroughly deserve this award.“
