“During a night turn driver thought he may have seen a person trackside and reported to the last train. Martin could have then waited for the next train in the morning to check out the situation.
He did not do this but had a PICOP just 8 miles away and asked him to go to the site, Martin had to talk the PICOP to the area as the person was hiding from people. It was a young girl in a big black hoodie very difficult to find but they did. Martin called the local police, who had been looking for the girl. The PICOP stayed with her until they arrived. Without this action the girl could have been there all night and this could have been harmful to her wellbeing and that of her parents“
