Said the following about Martin Green:

“Martin started helping people around 20 years ago, the amount of money he has raised is absolutely thousands. He has helped countless people on the railway who have fell on hard times, including myself. My stretch of bad luck started in 2014 when I lost my 6month old grandson. He helped me bury him by raising money then last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer With it being lockdown my husband couldn't work and he helped me out again. 6 weeks after that my son passed away suddenly, he helped me with his funeral, 3 weeks after that my father suddenly died, he helped me with that too. Now I'm just one person who this man has helped tirelessly. He raises money by doing marathons, skydiving, he even did a half marathon in a wheelchair!! He's now started a little charity called the Riff Raff society. he tirelessly never stops raising money for people by putting on events, every penny of profit going to someone in need. After helping countless, men ,women, and children struggling with cancer, never thinking of himself over the last 20 years I truly believe this man needs some recognition.“

Said the following about Martin Green:

“I have worked for the company for nearly 10 years and have had the pleasure of working with Martin Green closely for a period of time. He has absolutely gone above and beyond for many people. Colleagues. Friends and strangers. Martin is closely involved with The Riff Raff Charity. A cause close to his heart that helps individuals or families that have suffered loss. That have fallen upon hard times and quite often that have terminal illness. He operated a mobile soup kitchen in Manchester to help combat the hunger amongst the homeless. He has run marathons...BACKWARDS! The list goes on and on and I have only touched the surface. This man truly is an angel in disguise and our lives are all the richer for having him not only as a colleague but also a friend.“

Rachael Smith
