Said the following about Kirit Versani:

“"Kirit espouses the best notions of customer service. Leading from the front, he is always visible at his 12 stations on the line’s east.

He is known for his tireless work in supporting colleagues and customers. He does this through showing initiative. If something goes wrong, Kirit finds a solution rather than brand it another person or organisation’s problem; and he never accepts the “well that’s the way it has always been done” mentality.

When things get tough, Kirit supports those that he leads – whether it be debriefing after a hard day or providing pizzas and conversation after a busy week.

Both in times of normal operation and disruption, Kirit can be relied upon to take full accountability for everything within his area.

During the recent industrial action across the rail industry, Kirit led the plan on the east to ensure our colleagues and customers were kept safe and informed.

Kirit has been pivotal in the station regeneration works across the east. With major parts of some of our busiest stations closed for redevelopment, Kirit has ensured that our stations have remained operational and safe through careful planning, alongside local groups.

Kirit is very well respected by colleagues, rail delivery stakeholders as well as the local community for his respectful, collaborative approach."“
