“I am nominating Kenny as he is an inspirational leader, who always brings out the best in people, will stand by your side in challenging times, thinks rationally and is someone who is actively trying to make the rail industry a better place to work.
Although Kenny is the leader of RSL | Matchtech and responsible for the running of the business, he is also very client and candidate lead.
Kenny works very closely with senior leaders across some of the leading contractors and SMEs in the industry looking at talent acquisition, next generation talent, retention, upskilling, technology and safety. He is also a member of the RISQS Supplier Consultation Group to ensure that he has a voice to bring upon positive change and improvements as a representative in the forum for the staffing and recruitment industry.
Kenny recognises that it is people that makes any team and business great, and is always striving to ensure his team are empowered and competent to make the relevant decisions.
He is also a mental health first aider and is always available to sit and listen with you. The best example of what kind of people person Kenny is, was at Christmas 2020 when we were still restricted by covid, Kenny visited every single member of staff at their homes across the south of England to deliver a small personal gift to each person. The personal sense of gratitude and positive feeling was truly inspiring and Kenny brings this to the table for anyone he works with every day of the week!“
