“Carl joined GTR 12 months ago, taking on a challenging role to lead accessibility across all four of GTR’s brands.
Being completely new to rail and taking on this role in the largest TOC in the country, whilst COVID also brought its own unique challenges, has not phased him at all.
Carl approaches his role and the relationships he’s rapidly built across GTR and the industry with a energetic passion to deliver tempered with a want to learn from all our rail experts. He’s always out on the network listening to our teams and our customers to support them.
Since joining he’s led our accessibility delivery to strive for everyone to be able to travel when things are running to plan and also when unplanned challenges hit the rail service (from extreme weather, industrial action through to OLB). He also leads our cross business Accessibility Steering Group and has built an even stronger partnership with our brilliant customer group, the GTR access advisory panel, ensuring that their voice is heard and acted upon.
He’s growing massively in the role, always looking to learn and support others. He’s brilliant to have on my CE team and as part of our wider Railway Family“
