Said the following about Bingru Liu:

“Bingru joined the team as a graduate engineer and she has masters in Mechanical engineering. Regardless of the engineering stream she had studied, Bingru has shown great interest in learning low voltage electrical design and has now developed skills to design points heating and LV design.

She pays lot of attention on the accuracy on the information that is put through the designs and ensure all design assumptions and risks are captured and effectively passed on to the end user. She always ask the right question and ensures that she completely understand the task in hand. Bingru is a bright engineer in the making!!“

Said the following about Bingru Liu:

“Bingru is a Mechanical Engineer currently working with me on Low Voltage design for NR projects. She started at Atkins in September 2021 and in a span of a year she developed into a good engineer capable of delivering projects single handily. Her analytical ability and logical thinking helped in delivering accurate designs especially while integrating proposals to existing installations.

She is a great team player and her attention to detail is highly appreciable. She manages her time efficiently and has taken an active role to inspire and engage young people with STEM subjects as the STEM coordinator for Derby office. She maintains contact with local school and industry bodies and supported events such as careers events, STEM talks and school material development. She is also a member of the Transportation ED&I committee, supporting Transportation's ED&I strategy.“

Said the following about Bingru Liu:

“Bingru Joined exactly 1 year before as a Graduate within my team and she has been the most diligent, dedicated, and sincere asset to the Team and Central Rail Systems Alliance (CRSA). Her contributions to the CRSA M&E Team and the people in the team are exceptionally greatly within the span of 1 year. Bingru has a Master's in Mechanical engineering and has learned low voltage electrical design and helped the team in delivering several Projects with great attention to the accuracy of the information and doing the safe by design right at first time:

- Semi-Automatic Track Warning System (S-ATWS) LV supply Design

- Darlington Station Points Heating & Junction Lighting Design

- Crewe Hub - Tommy Lane Site Cabin LV Power Supply Design

Further to the above, she is also a member of the Transportation ED&I committee, supporting Transportation's ED&I strategy. She has taken an active role to inspire and engage young people with STEM subjects as the STEM coordinator for the Derby office. Said the following about Bingru Liu:

“Bingru joined the team from a mechanical background and has really worked hard to gain a good understanding and working knowledge of the E&P discipline, allowing her to produce designs independently of others. As part of this she has gained her BS7671 qualification.

Bingru has pushed herself working as a STEM ambassador within the wider Atkins business to encourage engineering.“
