“Agnes has worked at the Station for over three years and is very well known to the passengers.
In March - Young lady, approx. 16 years old, came to the station very unstable and nervous. Agnes stopped her to check on her wellbeing, key workers who were also at the station informed Agnes that the young lady had been reported missing and police had been alerted.
Agnes stopped the young lady from going onto the platform harming herself by comforting her reinsuring her everything will be okay, the young lady was in a very distressed state.
Police arrived and thanked Agnes and confirmed the incident which could of ended far worse had she not acted quickly until they arrived.
Agnes always goes the Extra Mile for all passengers were all are very proud of her!“
