Said the following about Sheree Whetren:

“Since Sheree started working at the station she instantly made an impact to the dull and boring railway station. Through the pandemic Sheree has raised money for various charities, raised over 500 wrapped Christmas presents for the elderly and turned our little community station into a lovely place to visit. The station looks beautiful with the planters and flower arrangements. Her smile is infectious (even at 06:00am). She has supported me during the pandemic by just being there for a chat, cup of tea and warm smile!

She has also involved us, the local community, and schools in dressing the stations huge windows for various events. The recent one was for the queens 95th birthday. Beautiful. Sheree has also attended the local schools to teach the young children about being safe at the station and near the tracks.

Sheree is a one off! We hope she doesn’t move on as we would miss her so much, so letting her know she’s one in a million might make her stay. Good luck Sheree.“
