“Sam has been a great asset to the Programmes team since joining as a Project Co-ordinator apprentice last year. He has quickly picked up the required knowledge and skills, and has added real value through his work, in particular producing project schedules and reporting data which is fed directly to our customers at RfL and Crossrail.
Sam is well known across the organisation with an enthusiastic approach to work, and interacts effectively with staff at all levels including company directors. His professionalism and approach are far beyond what would be expected from someone who has only worked in project delivery for such a short time, and he is performing at a level well above what would be expected.
Sam also had an important role in mobilisation of the organisation (and is staff number 000001!) and spent time working in the Safety, Quality & Environment department. He is a pleasure to work with and well liked within the team and across the wider organisation, and I have no hesitation in nominating him for this award.“
