“Michael has been instrumental in the successful implementation of the 21C operations trial to introduce a new service delivery centre to transform the way we operate trains putting our people and passengers first in Anglia. It is fair to say that the trial would not have been able to happen without Michael. His diligence, attention to detail, dedication, attitude and interest have made it a pleasure to work with him and no job is too big or too small. He has written copious documents and procedures, spent time with staff at all levels in the organisation, collaborated with our trade union colleagues and has been so patient working with a busy operations team and made it as easy as possible for us to implement such a massive change during a pandemic and running the railway. He has been fantastic at taking notes, preparing presentations and documents spanning change management, operations and technical detail. He has been so brilliant that he is now working on the field manager trial to create a new way of response on Anglia.
