“Marie is an absolute star! As GPR Team Leader in Glasgow she is always there for her Travel Centre and Platform team and supportive to everyone she meets. She strives to get the best out of everyone and is always role modelling our brand values. This year our organisation is introducing a new ticket issuing system (PICO). Marie volunteered to be a PICO Champion and from day one into the project her passion has shone through. Initially she started the conversations around the project, and when we got the pilot equipment installed she made a real effort to get to grips with it and introduce it to the team. In the summer she took on a secondment to be the PICO trainer. This has come with challenges, however our Glasgow Travel Centre are already in a brilliant position to welcome this new piece of kit and it is all thanks to Marie's patience, forward planning and understanding of colleagues needs.
Recently Marie covered Retail Team Leader too as we had A/L to cover. Throughout this she carried out PICO TVM training. Planning in time with the team, delivering the sessions and all the other day to day stuff too.
She has had positive feedback from the team and me, and this award would be the icing on the cake!“
