“Jemma is a Station Manager at Banbury Station and has worked really hard during the 9 day line closure to ensure that customers were informed and kept moving. She initiated a new way of improving the drop off and pick up areas for buses at Banbury station which proved to work very well and ensured customers were not only safe but had a better journey experience.
She also had a lot of contractors on her station actually doing the track and signalling work and she built up such a good rapport with all of them which benefited our customers because she always knew which part of the scheme would have an effect on customers and was able to quickly implement things on the station to reduce any adverse impact on customers and staff. During the 9 day line closure she was out on the front line working extremely long hours to ensure her staff were fully supported. I am sure that the operation at Banbury would not have gone so smoothly if it was not for her. It proves that Jemma really cares about her station , customers and staff.“
