“Andy has served with Northern as a conductor for over 10 years and he is still as enthusiastic now as he ever was. During the year he has also dealt with a suicidal person who he managed to talk to a position of safety away from the railway. He has suggested various ideas on the protection of company revenue and often carries out surveys in his own time to highlight ticketless travel an example being on the Lincoln - Sheffield line.“
