“The female was first bough to attention as she was acting strangely, walking to the edge of the platform. Zafran approached the lady and tried to calm her down and move her to safety.
The lady was clearly upset and kept trying to throw herself in front of a train. On 2 occasions Zafran had to physically intervene and restrain her when a train was approaching. Zafran managed to get the lady away from the edge of the platform and build up a rapport with her. He provided her with a warm drink and a shoulder to lean on until the police arrived.
It goes without saying how proud we are of Zafran and his caring offer of support clearly saved this ladies life.“
