Said the following about Strabag Rail in partnership with TES 2000:

“Strabag Rail in partnership with TES 2000 carry out Rail Milling across the whole of the UK Rail Infrastructure

ROB Patten and the Strabag Rail team consisting of Michael Maurer, Gerd Berger and Benjamin Prinz came to the aid of an unconscious man laid on the Infrastructure during the course of their duties.

The team had finished their planned milling and were heading back to the sidings when they spotted a figure lying unconscious in the Up Cess.

They stopped their machine and walked back to check on him and their initial worst fears were allayed when they realised he was still breathing, with an empty box of tablets beside him.

The team wrapped him in a foil blanket, placed him in the recovery position and comforted him. The team called the British Transport Police/paramedics and took the machine to the nearest station to collect the emergency services. The man was checked over before everyone headed back to the station on the machine, where an ambulance was waiting to take the man to hospital for further treatment. The team then returned to the sidings and completed their shift as planned.

The actions of the team without doubt saved this person’s life and we are incredibly proud of their actions as a business.
