“Craig was working a late train from Shrewsbury to Cardiff Central on the evening of 7/6/21. At Ludlow he had given the ready to start signal to the driver but the train didn’t move, on speaking to the driver he had spotted a male with his head on the line, Craig went trackside to talk to the male whilst in conversation a train came in the opposite direction and the train was stopped, Craig continued dialog with the male and managed to get him safely back on the platform where he stayed with him until the police arrived on scene. During this time Craig had spoken to the man at length and gained his confidence and successfully saved his life.“
