Said the following about Tracey Morgan:

“Great Western Railway (GWR) is one of the biggest rail franchises in the UK, part of the First Group of companies, operating the Western network since 1996, rebranding ourselves as GWR in 2015. We employ over 6000 people across our network and we carry more than one and a half million customers over two million single journeys on 10,000 services every week. People are at the heart of our business and our ethos is that we are 'greater together'.

Tracey Morgan was doing her job as conscientiously as she always does on the 21st February when she spotted that a gentleman ad collapsed on platform 5. Tracey immediately went to his aid and discovered that he was not breathing, she got the defibrillators and started doing compressions and called the ambulance. Once the Air Ambulance and the local ambulance crews arrived, they took over and Tracey thought that she had not been able to save the man.

The ambulance crew came to see Tracey and informed her that she had indeed saved the mans life and if it wasn't for her quick action the man would have died. This is something that Tracey would do in her stride and is very humble about her efforts which is why I think she should be recognised formally for her excellent customer service and commitment to all our customers and her colleagues.“
