“Stuart has been a conscientious, dedicated and motivated Officer since joining the railway some three years ago.
During this time he has undertaken the Mentoring programme, enabling him to guide and share knowledge with others. Stuart is also a Wellbeing Champion promoting staff welfare. A big achievement this year (along with his normal day to day duties) has seen Stuart visit thirty plus primary schools and deliver railway safety talks to over 1500 school children. He is always approachable and will seek to help anyone and has proven this with countless interactions with passengers and vulnerable persons. Earlier this year Stuart was instrumental in saving a young females life who was trackside and self-harming. He is a team player, always shows willing, an asset to his team, company and the railway and deserves recognition for this.“
