Claire Repeti

Said the following about Simon Repeti:

“Whilst on duty Simon was called to a vulnerable female. On the way to attend the incident he had to carry out an emergency stop in the incident response vehicle as there was a young female in the road with no shoes saying she wanted to end her life. He carried out a successful intervention and believed that he had dealt with the incident he had been called to and continued to the station to inform staff that the vulnerable female had been taken to safety. On arrival at the station Simon realised that there was a second vulnerable female. He approached her and introduced himself and asked if she would come and have a chat with him away from the platform.

The same day Simon was called to attend a bike theft and noticed a taxi that had flames coming from under the engine and shouted at the driver to get out of his car while grabbing extinguishers from his van to put out the smoking engine.

In the space of a day Simon made two interventions and saved a taxi drivers life.“
