Said the following about Simon Kishore:

“Simon Kishore has been providing a truly excellent recruitment service to his customers and the wider rail industry now for over 20 years, priding his service on consultancy, high quality and partnership. The last 18 months however have really seen Simon contribute on a large scale with amazing feedback from clients, candidates and colleagues which has made him truly worthy of this nomination.

Simon joined Resourcing Solutions in 2011, bringing with him a strong and established pedigree in the construction and engineering industry – coupled with his guile, focus, determination and ability to forge great client and candidate relationships to the rail industry, Simon quickly became an integral part of the already well established brand of Resourcing Solutions.

Resourcing Solutions were acquired in 2017 by Gattaca, largely because of the great people the business has in the Rail industry, and Simon Kishore was at the forefront of that operation. Simon’s focus and attitude towards delivery has amounted in a reputation of one that delivers consistently and on time to his client’s needs whilst seeking what is best for his candidates. This as a result has driven for opportunity for others with Simon being supported with a team of three new hires around him.

Simon partners with his clients, understanding their challenges and working with them to deliver on their project works.

This year Simon has supported over 35 different areas of the network rail business covering depots from Carlisle to Great Yarmouth and Newcastle to Eastleigh. He has placed hundreds of workers whilst ensuring 100% compliance and quality checks are maintained at all time.

His partnership with Network Rail has enabled Simon to not only deliver on larger key projects but also on planned engineering works throughout the year.

In particular, Simon partnered very closely with the Thameslink Resilience Team through the planning and implementation of the change of time table to build a recruitment programme, implementing and delivering response teams across the network that were capable of allowing rapid response to reduce any loss of times on what was already a very challenging set up circumstances.

Simon made himself and his team available at all hours to ensure that working hours were well-co-ordinated and maximised. He supported with sourcing hard to find talent, consulting on challenges along the way and how best to overcome them whilst managing the on-boarding of large teams effectively. Simon in turn was perceived by someone who operates as a true consultant, adding value, providing expert advice and opinion and becoming a genuine and trusted partner.

Simon has personified the value of our brand, is an ambassador for our industry and valuable asset to all those in contact with him.

Simply put, Simon genuinely cares for his clients and candidates, their projects and drivers and takes pride in their achievements and outputs, his endless enthusiasm, positivity and passion coupled with intrinsic accountability make his a commodity that his clients value and covet.“
