“I would like to nominate the team at Romford railway station for the team of the year award.
Over the last 3 years since the company MTR Crossrail introduced the safe guarding initiative the staff at Romford have had more than 130 interventions.
They also look after their customers well during disruptions and when helping customers with all their planning enquirers, they have above 9 million customers each year which when the Elizabeth line comes in will increase considerably. But as a team in my opinion they are the top of the tree.
They have the Platform staff, booking office staff, safeguarding staff, Land Sheriffs, Romford MOMS, and of course the Romford Station manager who all seem to gel together in times of disruption as what I like to call TEAM ROMFORD.
They prove the saying right “team work makes the dream workâ€
As MTR want to be an industry leading Railway Company, teams like this along the Elizabeth line, I believe with make this goal possible“
