“Working with Phil for the last 2 years, mostly within Three Bridges ROC he is always willing to help and support others within the control room particularly during service disruption, regardless of whether it is the area of the network is looking after, he will not watch by and let others struggle when he can help.
Phil has helped me and others during times of our learning and development as newly qualified Train Service Managers, he is also willing to assist with other operational needs that are required as a Train Service Manager and will explain the reasons for his actions, thus giving the other person a learning experience that isn't always available in a normal day to day running of service.
Phil has recently received a well-deserved been promotion to a Senior Train Service Manager which allows him more time to assist and work towards a better railway experience for our customers.
I believe Phil deserves this nomination as he goes beyond the requirements of his role more often than anyone else I know and deserves further recognition for his efforts.“
