Nominations for Rail Manager of the Year

Brinsley Gordon

Said the following about Mo Uddin:

“The reason for nominating Mo Uddin because as a manager Mo consistently goes over and above for staff and customers without ever complaining. Mo isn’t afraid, or too busy, to help and encourage staff within the FOUR stations his covering instead of the one he was given. Mo has taught myself, and I’m pretty sure others, on how to stick together and work as team and given me the belief of opportunities of progressing with the company.

Mo is easily the hardest working manager on the line, even if he leaves work for the day you can still feel his present around the station and, if ever needed, he will come back without a second thought.

I would like to show my appreciation to having Mo has the best manager, and hope he will win this award.“

Ciara Fraser

Said the following about Mo Uddin:

“I am nominated Mo Uddin for this reward because he’s such an amazing manager. I’ve worked on the railway for eight years and we’ve had a few managers but in the time I’ve been at St Pancras, Mo has been the best manager there. He’s kind, considerate and most of all HARD WORKING. He always puts other before himself and goes out of his way to make sure staff are ok and also passengers. Myself and our team really appreciate what he does for us and we can’t thank him enough for his hard work. Without fail, Mo deserves this reward by far. #TeamMo“

Yande Simutenda

Said the following about Mo Uddin:

“I am nominating Mo Uddin for Rail Manager of the year because I feel he is the most selfless manager I have ever come across. Mo is not just a good manager, he is a great leader. He sees more in all of us than we see in ourselves and he always makes time to talk to each team member individually on a daily basis even when he has a million things to do.

Mo has managed to transform most of our weaknesses and mistakes into valuable lesson and has made ST Pancras station team more productive and stronger.

His organisations skills and effort during the National Grid Power Outage on the 9th of August were absolutely outstanding. I believe he deserves to be commended and recognised for his dedication and continuous hard work .“

He is simply a decent human being.“
