“I was working at Cambridge North one night when Lee radioed to say he was concerned about a person who had been asking about the next fast train to come through the station. The man had then gone off somewhere. We phoned the signaller to caution the trains and the police were called. The man was then found and taken to safety. Lee’s quick thinking prevented the man from harming himself“

“Lee intervened and stopped a man from wanting to jump in front of a train. He managed to persuade him that there was not fast trains coming through the station and that all the trains stop. Lee tried his hardest to talk to the man in every way that he could. This affected Lee in a very emotional way. But Lee still carried on with his work after this. Lee works so hard at what he does and is very observant about what is happening around him. I know I can always go to him and talk to him about anything no matter what it is.“
