“Jodie is a highly motivated individual who goes above and beyond to get the job done.

Jodie is a certified APM practitioner with extensive experience working in both analytical and project management roles. She has managed a range of projects working with Network Rail, Freight Operating companies and Plant manufacturers and has delivered safety assessment projects for East West Rail, Wessex Capacity, Asbestos Risk Management System (ARMS) Cardiff and Reading City Councils.

Jodie has set the bench mark for how projects should be delivered, how planning tools should be used and is continuing to contribute to how NCB deliver projects. Jodie is currently implementing a new process around how NCB delivering different types of contracts including scope management, charging, planning and utilization of resource.

In her role Jodie:

• Builds relationships up with the delivery team to assist in the management of their projects and supports them in carrying out cost estimates and providing capability information for business proposals.

• Identifies delivery and budget risks for all projects

• Developed best practice of the company’s resourcing planning system

• Manages the development of assessment programmes and plans for individual projects

• Leads the tracking of progress in terms of time and cost of all projects being conducted by the conformance teams

• Leads the development and production of regular financial and technical progress reports for clients, taking inputs from technical staff.

This year Jodie has also been awarded Outstanding Achievement and Employee of the Year at NCB’s Star recognition event where our colleagues recognize people’s high performance demonstrating what people feel around what Jodie has achieved this year.

“Having worked with Jodie on East West Rail phase 2 she is an excellent project manager. Jodie's capability, organisation and attention to detail is phenomenal. Jodie ably coordinates the team of assessors, the certifier and the CDP, and the meeting minutes capture all of the important detail with great accuracy. In September I needed to undertake a formal audit and Jodie volunteered to assist in all aspects of planning and delivery. Again, the depth of knowledge and accuracy of written outputs contributed significantly to the success of the overall assessment.
