Said the following about Jackie Priest:

“Jackie has continually gone above and beyond what is expected of her and what is required of her in her role as a Shift Station Manager. As outlined above all these projects and initiatives have had a significant positive impact at not only Victoria Station but across the South East Route managed station. She has managed and delivered various projects and initiatives whilst undertaking her day-to-day role as a Shift Station Manager.

Because of the work Jackie has undertaken, this has led to the staff in Victoria and across the route being better trained and more competent to undertake their role and serve our passengers. Additionally, through reducing the vacancy gap in the station this means that the station does not need to hire part-time agency staff to undertake certain roles. The passengers therefore receive a consistently high level of service within the station.

We now have a full roster within the station which as mentioned previously results in a much higher level of customer service given to our passengers. These members of staff are also better trained and have increased competencies which sets both a higher standard of service and safety.

Furthermore, the team is more motivated to deliver the best possible service to our passengers and really ensure that we are putting passengers first and at the heart of everything we do.

Through leading on people governance Jackie has been an integral part of transforming the South East Route Managed Stations into being a great place to work for our staff over the last 12 months. In turn, this has ensured we have provided an improved service to our passengers.“
