Said the following about Glenroy and Hollie Stewart and Wilson:

“Glen was instrumental in saving a young man from taking his own life at the station on in August 2019. Hollie, our station assistant noticed the gentleman leaning against a lamppost but stopped and looked deeper to see his eyes were red. She approached him and asked the simple question of "are you ok?" Thankfully he replied he wasn't. Hollie used her instincts to keep him talking to her whilst she alerted the Service Delivery Manager, Glen. Glen came to the platform and gently and calmly requested he came to the office to talk, removing him from the platform whilst trains were due at any minute. Glen went onto spend 2 hours talking to the young man. It transpired he had plotted taking his life and been to Grantham station on many occasions and today was the day. He opened up to Glen that he had tried and failed by using prescription overdose and the train 'would be easier'. Glen took his time and made contact with the person's mother who also arrived. He spent a further 2 hours with them both. The parents had no idea their son had got to this point at all. Glen gave them options and details of charities to use for help including CALM and the Samaritans. If Hollie hadn't took the time to check and Glen the time to really listen the situation would have been very different.“
