Said the following about Fraser Carter:

“Fraser is responsible for providing services to passengers, and others, at Dorridge Station on the "Leamington Line".

He is very patient and often assists passengers in making choices to enhance their journey by having knowledge gained by not only his service but by years of travelling himself. His external interests keep him active and probably help with this knowledge. At times, he deals with 'awkward' customers by engaging positively.

Despite having had occasional health problems, he continues to provide consistent service that customers want in a friendly and professional manner. He knows many of the passengers who pass through by name. Due to recent changes in the local bus service, he often has a 35 minute walk or a taxi to or from his home to the station when on early turns and similarly when on late shifts.

Despite this he is an example of customer service that others should follow. Recognition by this award would ensure that he feels valued and can help sustain engagement during periods of pressure and will endorse the adage that happy staff make happy passengers.“
