“Earlier this year Danielle was first on the scene to a young man who has collapsed when getting off a train. Immediately she got to work to try and figure what was wrong. It became apparent that he was having anaphylactic shock but didn’t have his Epi-pen with him. Remaining calm and in control she instructed a staff member to go to boots pharmacy and instructed them to ask for an EpiPen or adrenaline and assisted the pharmacist to administer the correct medicine all whilst maintaining the customer’s dignity and keeping him calm. The paramedics arrived and advised that a few more minutes without the intervention would have been a severely different story. Danielle missed out on the nominations for Virgin’s own recognition ball and I think for saving that man’s life she performed the ultimate customer service and I’m sure the customer would agree.“
