Nominations for Customer Service Award

Jane Hyndman

Said the following about Corina Caras:

“I would like to nominate Corina for the Customer Service award as she the epitome of great customer service. Corina’s job title states that she works as a First Class host for CrossCountry and this title suits her down to the ground as everyone that Corina comes into contact with is given a first class service

She comes to work each day with a smile on her face and has the ability to ensure that everyone she engages with throughout the day is left with a smile on their face. Her level of professionalism combined with a warm and friendly can do attitude is reflected in the quantity and quality of letters of praise received from not only the customers that she serves each day but also her colleagues. The pride she takes in her role is evident and all tasks are performed to the very top level with customers writing of how she has made them feel unique and special during their time on board with her.

Corina is full of energy and is constantly on the go, she is always happy to assist her colleagues and lend a listening ear to them if they require one and has been known to remain in work after her shift has finished to check on the welfare of her colleagues if necessary.

One of the many incidents that highlights Corina’s dedication happened recently, at the end of a shift (and outside of office hours), Corina noticed that there was a problem with the doors into our work accommodation from the street. Rather than just reporting it and leaving it to someone else to deal with, Corina waited around for the landlord to send in security staff, liaising with them and control to ensure everyone was aware of the situation, thus ensuring the safety of her workplace and colleagues were not compromised. Such is Corina’s modesty that she doesn’t see this as anything more than doing her job because being a proactive team player is second nature to her.“
