Said the following about Claire Steward:

“Claire Steward has volunteered to be the Rail team WellBeing Champion. She has taken on the task of 'how do we promote WellBeing within Heathrow Rail '.

Claire worked diligently to deliver the following:

• Arranged road shows - she delivered 3 events in 3 different rail locations to promote WellBeing and what’s available i.e. the different services like the Babylon app, EAP and Strawbuddy etc.

• Arranged WellBeing boards to be available in restrooms in 3 locations with all relevant info that was available at the roadshows.

• Claire has also completed some mental health training and was successful in becoming a Strawbuddy which is a mental health peer support group for fellow colleagues

• She has personally designed and delivered 4 x WellBeing training sessions in the summer to promote further information sharing with all fellow Duty Station Managers so they are fully equipped to give the relevant advice to their direct reports.

• Claire also demonstrates a genuine care for her colleagues. Only a few weeks ago she spotted strange behaviour of a Host on shift. She asked the right questions and cared enough to get to the bottom of what was wrong. This individual was indeed struggling and went home. The person has since seen their GP and treatment given.

I have nominated Claire as she is so passionate about WellBeing and she is really taking it seriously. She has delivered all of the above without any prompting or pushing from her line manager. All the above were her own ideas and her actions are going to help improve the WellBeing culture within our Rail team.“
