“Teresa is the mother figure for all members at Victoria Station and is called Mummy T by all of the employees on the group. Teresa has done many things including counselling her colleagues to managing the station averting dangerous situation on a daily basis. On one occasion a child was by the edge of the platform wanting to commit suicide and just waiting for the best opportunity to do so, Teresa jumped into action and went to the child. She asked what the teddy was called and led them away from the edge, she kept eye contact and led them by the hand. She covertly got the BTP to the platform for assistance. The girl wrote to the station thanking Teresa for saving her life and told them of her issues and said that she was now grateful to be alive. Teresa has done so much for LU and this is just one example of the excellent work she does.“

“Teresa is always happy to help customers feeling sick on the network and she would even stay behind her finishing time to assist the person until she makes sure they are feeling better or until the ambulance would turn up. She is always in the right place at the right time and as a Supervisor, I have never doubt that she might not be able to assist. She is caring, an excellent listener and will do everything in her capacity to assist and help someone whether it be a colleague or member of public.“
