“The Sable Leigh Consultancy and Ford & Stanley Site Managed Service Partnership was announced at the beginning of 2018. Designed and implemented to ensure a cross-business team approach to securing talent in an extremely competitive railway infrastructure candidate market.

SLC Rail's ambitions to grow/invest in their Rail infrastructure business and their desire to ensure the unrivalled delivery of several infrastructure projects resulted in appointing F&S as the sole talent acquisition partner. This partnership to date has been hugely successful but only as a result of the joined up thinking and teamwork of both businesses.

The team have achieved a 1 in 1 worked to filled ratio drastically reducing business time and investment in recruitment. They have successfully appointed 15 key infrastructure positions YTD (Not forgetting the 6 direct hires) with several more appointments pending (4 of which, female engineers and project managers).

As a result of such appointments, SLC have delivered some extremely successful projects to include Battenhall Bridge and Kenilworth Station with Worcestershire Parkway Station, Cardiff Parkway and many more under way.
