Said the following about Shazeen Patel:

““On Saturday 19th December 2017, we had a report of a customer threatening to commit suicide by jumping under a Jubilee Line train. A colleague was sent to assist but was not able to get the customer to move.

Shaz was sent to assist. She started to talk to the customer who confirmed that she was going to jump under the next train to come in. She continued to talk to the customer and eventually managed to get her to agree to leave the platform and continue their chat. The customer was removed from the platform and taken to the recovery room to await the arrival of the British Transport Police. Shaz kept talking to the customer and gaining her trust. When the Police arrived the customer was too scared to stay alone with them so Shaz stayed and assisted the Police talking to the Customer.

CSA Patel stayed with them until the Ambulance arrived to take the customer to hospital. At the time, Shaz has only been with the company for 2 months but has already become a role model for others to follow.““
