Said the following about Ruth Duck:

“Ruth truly deserves recognition for her consistently outgoing and approachable persona, constant impeccable high standards and willingness to help all who travel through Winsford station.

Ruth constantly looks for ways to improve the customer experience at Winsford station, the station environment and how we can improve this for our rail users. Ruth is very engaged with our community rail partnerships locally to improve the facilities and incorporate history or the surrounding area into the station environment for all to enjoy.

Ruth takes the time to understand the needs of every single person she helps whether it be at the ticket office or with customers who require her assistance to travel. Ruth is well known by the regular commuters at Winsford and she has a very genuine relationship with them all. Ruth is very proactive and vigilant on the station and also recently stopped a vulnerable young girl who had potentially intended to take their life. Nothing is too much trouble for Ruth - even out of hours she is always at the end of the phone willing to help such as alarm activations. Ruth truly deserves to be recognised for her consistent approach and exceptionally high levels of customer service.“
