“Mike Contopoulos is the Western Works Delivery Project Director. He has brought together the Works Delivery team, which is a Principal Contractor, as well as a Client. Mike demonstrates empathy for his team members, understanding mental health issues in colleagues, as well as engaging all to innovate and succeed in all we do as a team. He is always approachable, strives to inspire success for all we do. This has created an atmosphere of inclusivity, caring, diversity and leadership values in all. He allows team members to explore their full potential in understanding innovative ways to deliver work safely, sustainably and effectively. Mike is humble and works hard to understand all levels of Works Delivery, whilst leading us to successfully achieve our goals and strive to continually improve. I feel he deserves to be awarded this accolade, as he does not fully appreciate how he positively impacts on those around him and those who work for him.“
