Said the following about Mark Neal:

“Mark has worked for Freightliner for over 10 years and is the Health and Safety Representative at our Landor Street Terminal in Birmingham.

In addition to undertaking his Union safety training, Mark also has a NEBOSH Certificate which is testimony to his commitment to safety.

Mark works hard to ensure all the staff at Birmingham are aware of the safety systems and procedures that are in place to keep them safe.

In addition to his day job at the terminal and H&S representative, he is also an accredited trainer / assessor

Sometimes, even the most dedicated Safety Representative will become disheartened when progress on a safety issue is slow or stalled, but not Mark!! He is never put off if he doesn’t succeed at first, he looks for alternative ways to achieve his objective, identifying other allies or supporters to help him achieve his objective

Mark is an excellent Health and Safety Representative, we need more “Marks” in Freightliner to help us achieve our aim of "Zero Injuries"every day“
