“The Kent maintenance team have consistently been nationally the best route for mean time between service affecting point’s failures over the last year - currently being at over 6 years on average between failures for all the population of points in the Kent Area. This means the passengers and freight customers have had the best service possible at a challenging time of rebuilding London Bridge and the Thameslink project.
This has been achieved through collaborative team working between the signalling and track maintenance teams proactively maintaining the points and the flight engineers working with the maintenance teams to predict and prevent failures.“
