Said the following about Jade Morris:

“I am nominating Jade Morris as Rail Manager of the year for outstanding commitment to her role and going above and beyond what is expected of her in a time of crisis.

Recently I suffered an allergic reaction to an unknown substance and went into anaphylactic shock while I was work. I collapsed and was admitted to A&E in the early hours of the morning. It was approximately 1am in the morning when I collapsed, and after being admitted to A&E Jade turned up at the hospital as she was the on-call manager for the evening. I was unable to contact any of my family, and no matter how much I said it was fine Jade refused to leave my side all night. Even when I was trying to sleep, she still just sat there keeping an eye on me and ensuring I remained stable, and didn't try and close her eyes once. She was cool, calm and collected throughout and sat talking with me and keeping me company with some light hearted jokes. The poor girl even had to take off my smelly safety critical boots and that in itself deserves an award! All jokes aside, without her help that night it would have been a very scary and different environment. She took it upon herself to remain with me all night even though it wasn’t part of her job. After I was discharged she refused to leave me alone and accompanied me back to a safe location while waiting for my medical prescription. She didn't manage to get home until 10am the following morning. She was not just as a manager but a friend and I truly cannot thank her enough for all she did that night.“
