The RailStaff Awards 2024

Paul Banks

Said the following about Jack Frost:

“After joining the railway in the 90's, Jack has never ceased to work pro-actively and constructively for the betterment of both the railway industry and its customers. Joining after a distinguished career in the RAF, Jack firstly worked within the Signalling Technical Investigation Centre at Crewe. In 2000 he joined what is now the Network Rail (Signalling) Infrastructure Design Group, where he has remained ever since. Admired and respected by both colleagues and peers, Jack shows the same level of commitment today as the day he started. This was shown most recently when successfully producing the design specification and also verifying design for the Caldew Flood resilience works. Jack combined multiple GRIP stages in order to produce the specification to meet the extremely tight commissioning deadlines. Commissioning was carried out successfully through multiple stages during May, June and July of this year.“
