Said the following about Harvey Glickenstein:

“Harvey Glickenstein is one of the great Signal Engineers of the time in north east USA. He started his career with ConRail in 1970s as a college graduate and worked his way up to become a chief Signals Engineer. He had invented the modern day code rates still in use for speed signaling on Amtrak and other rails. He then joined Thomas K dyer Inc. as a consultant around 1983 as a district manager and started providing consultation on major railway project across the country. Then around 1995 he joined PB (now WSP ) as Signal and communication group practice leader of North America. In Jan 2018 he retired from his Signaling career and enjoying retirement.

He had an outstanding career and worked on lot of multibillion dollar projects including Domestic and International railroads like Canadian National, Pacific, Delhi metro rail corporation, Australian railroads and metro project. He is actively involved with AREMA standards committee. IRSE North America, Apta, IEEE. He is news editor and EX-Chair of IEEE Vehicular Technology Committee.

He is a great engineer, mentor and friend. He has served various railroads and through them effected lot of peoples life along northeast of USA in a positive manner for over 50years of his career.“

Said the following about Harvey Glickenstein:

“Harvey has been a fixture in the industry both in North America and internationally for over 40 years. He served on the Board of the Vehicular Technology Society of the IEEE as an elected board member and Vice President of the Land Transportation Division. He was an active participant in the CBTC working Group at IEEE and also was active in the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers for over 15 years. As a licensed Professional Engineer. Harvey mentored countless numbers of young engineers.“
