“Gavin has spent the last few years project managing and delivering systems that should have taken huge teams of people to deliver. His work to deliver the Envoy ticketing system working with Worldline was a huge success and we would not be where we are now without his dedication and expertise. This system is being used on many franchises now however was up and running on Southeastern first. This was due to Gavin’s project management and delivery of the system. For Revenue protection teams he continues to manage the implementation of the Electronic Penalty Fares system and all the new updates to make front line staffs work easier. He has developed applications for staff to use to report issues electronically which is changing the whole behaviour and approach of Revenue Protection. He continues to work with staff and the programmers to add new parts to the system making it easier and more informative for all to use. All of this has been done alongside delivering many other less complicated projects. Gavin has been at the forefront in developing a revenue protection dashboard, which merges many databases into one dashboard and allows all the management team to see a real time view of their team’s performance. We would be at a loss without his dedication and professionalism in his approach and can do attitude to finding a solution to problems. Gavin has developed his mind set and working attitude over his 26 years on the railway and continues to be an asset to us all.“
