Said the following about Frances Rogalski:

“Frances is a very dedicated Engineer who has standardised all the processes for Network Rail Works Delivery Drainage LNE.

This has had fantastic results in work output and also ensured we have been 100% compliant to all relevant standards.

She has also challenged the track monitoring standard to ensure we are as safe and efficient as possible whilst still being compliant, risk assessing every site on an individual basis. This is currently being applied to NWR/CIV177.

Frances is also a very active STEM Ambassador and is passionate about educating the next generation of Engineers. She uses all of her volunteer days in engagement activities with local schools and has strong ties with local careers advisors, providing support and mentoring.

She is an active member of the Network Rail Skills and Diversity task force and is working to encourage more women to join the rail industry. She has been involved in improving welfare for frontline workers.

Frances is an active member of the Women in Rail Yorkshire committee and is currently in the final stages of planning a rail employability day at York ROC.

She is a credit to her profession and her Engineering integrity is second to none.“
