Having joined Matchtech in 2014 with enthusiasm and endeavour but no previous industry experience, Dave quickly identified the need to provide unrivalled levels of customer service, and in doing so he has built relationships which has seen him support the industry with multiple new hires when in a challenging period for rail recruitment.
At Matchech we have invested in a new office in London Bridge to drive quality and relationships as we believe in a better service through locality to our clients based in the capital. Dave was quickly identified as the outstanding candidate to lead a London rail operation and this year has grown his team by 3 new hires to ensure our ability to continually deliver an excellent and thorough service to our clients.
Dave partners with his clients, deeply understanding their challenges and opportunities and works with them to expand their business and deliver on their project work. His relationship with WSP is a great example of this where he has partnered with them to not only deliver on key projects such as Crossrail and the recent Old Oak Common HS2 design, but also to tender and win new work such as the Network Rail IPSS framework. He supported with sourcing hard to find talent, consulting on skills shortage areas, and managing the on-boarding of new hires. Dave is perceived by his clients to operate as a true consultant, adding value, providing expert advice and opinion and becoming a genuine and trusted partner.
This year Dave has supported 17 different clients, making over 100 contract placements and managing 130 contractors on a weekly basis, ensuring 100% compliance and quality checks are maintained at all time. He personifies the value of our brand, is an ambassador for our industry and valuable asset to all those in contact with him.
