“While patrolling Dan & Shane where called to assist with searching for a vulnerable male in the area of the station.
The male was located sat on the road bridge and the police were attempting to talk with the male but he refused.
The team on site asked if they could try and talk with the male and after a few attempts the male began to open up to them and the male stated that he was there with the intention of killing himself as he had been trying all day.
Between them they managed to calm the male down enough so that he firstly brought one leg over the bridge then eventually sat on the floor.
Once the male was sat on the floor Dan & Shane sat down with him and continued to talk with him until he was ready to get into the Ambulance.“
