“The team at Coventry tend to go quietly un-noticed. Coventry, being a two university city, is incredibly busy and has a huge footfall of customers. Not to be out done by other cities, it hosts the Godiva festival- a major event ... unique to Coventry, posing a huge logistical and customer engaging opportunity... once again, welcomed, challenged, engaged and successfully accomplished by the team. Coventry also has its fair share of concerts and football matches at the Ricoh Arena. The team deal with customers, customers with special requirements, lost property, enquiries... both rail related and other, social engagement and on many occasions... sadly , customers who require a more sensitive, personal engagement, all of which the staff endeavour to not only deliver, but to do so in a professional, helpful and where possible and practicable, a cheerful manner. The team at Coventry pride themselves on making rail travel not just about the train travel, it’s all about the journey ...
